The Bridle Path, also known as the "Millionaires Row," is the most affluent neighbourhood in Canada. With mansions selling for well in excess of a 7 million dollars, it is home to prominent businessmen and women, celebrities and doctors. The houses in the Bridle Path were built mostly in the 1930s, 1950s and 1960s which accounts for the eclectic mix of architectural styles found here.
The Bridle Path's largest mansions located between Post Road and Park Lane Circle are among the largest homes in Toronto. These grand homes are situated on one to six acre lots and feature stone and cast iron gateways with elaborate built-in security systems. The houses south of Park Lane Circle are somewhat smaller in scale with still very generous one hundred foot frontages.
The Bridle Path has some of the most extravagant houses that are surrounded by lush parkland and the Don River Valley that provide the perfect backdrop for its exclusive enclave of homes. Not only is it known for expensive housing and lots over two acres, but also for convenient access to private schools and clubs such as The Granite Club, Edward Gardens and the Toronto Botanical Gardens. The Bridle Path appeals to individuals who wish to situate themselves on acres of lush land and in a home tailored to their dream.
